Support your favorite creators with real-time streaming payments in just 3 steps.

Step 1: Set Up Your Wallet

You need a crypto wallet to use LinQup.

Recommended: MetaMask

1. Install MetaMask browser extension
2. Create a new wallet (takes 2 minutes)
3. Save your seed phrase securely - This is crucial!

Alternative: WalletConnect

Use any mobile wallet app that supports WalletConnect.

Step 2: Get USDC on Polygon

LinQup uses USDC (a stablecoin) on the Polygon network.

Option A: Bridge from Another Chain

If you already have USDC:

1. Use Polygon Bridge
2. Bridge USDC to Polygon network
3. Wait ~7 minutes for confirmation

Option B: Buy Directly

Purchase USDC on Polygon through:

• Centralized exchanges (Coinbase, Binance) - withdraw to Polygon
• On-ramps (Transak, MoonPay) - buy directly on Polygon

Step 3: Start Supporting

1. Visit creator's widget (or their /w/ADDRESS page)
2. Click "Start Supporting"
3. Connect your wallet
4. Set streaming amount (e.g., $5/month)
5. Approve the stream

Done! Your support starts flowing immediately.

Understanding Streaming Payments

Unlike one-time donations, LinQup streams money continuously.

Example

You set: $10/month

What happens:

• Money flows every second: ~$0.0000038/second
• Creator receives it in real-time
• You can stop anytime with zero penalty

Managing Your Support

View Active Streams

Visit the widget you're supporting - you'll see:

• Current streaming rate
• Total sent so far
• Time remaining (based on your balance)

Modify Stream

You can:

• Increase/decrease the flow rate
• Pause temporarily (doesn't cancel)
• Cancel completely (stops immediately)

Add More Balance

Your stream uses your USDCx balance. When it runs low:

1. Convert more USDC to USDCx
2. Your stream continues automatically

Important Notes

⚠️ You need USDCx - This is "wrapped" USDC for streaming. Convert regular USDC → USDCx in the widget.

⚠️ Small gas fees - Transactions on Polygon cost ~$0.01 in MATIC

⚠️ Always verify - Make sure you're supporting the right creator's wallet
